Hey faithful readers, I know you've been dying for more. Here is one of the last main characters... For now anyway. Her name is Tacey Barrington and she is everyone's confidant, well except for Maderia's anyway, b/c they hate each other.

Right now here is just her family tree kind of. I haven't fully realized all that has happened to her. There's all this information about her running through my mind all the time. I have bits and pieces, really juicy pieces though so stay tuned for Ms. Tacey Barrington's life story.

Madeira is the daughter of Glenn Ford and Colleen Teasdale Ford. Throughout her life Madeira and her family had been terrorized by Colleen Teasdale II, her mother’s clone who felt that she was supposed to be with Glen and that Madeira was really her child. On the eve of Madeira’s fifteenth birthday, it all came to a tragic end when Colleen was brutally stabbed to death by Mercedes who then tried to kidnap Madeira, but was unsuccessful. Mercedes was then arrested. Madeira started cutting her wrists because it was the only pain that she could control and express. Her father only realized the extent of her problem when he found her passed out on her bed. She was then admitted to the Port Oak rehabilitation centre where she got the help she needed.

After meeting Andrew at the Port Oak train station, they fell in love despite their parents objections. After the two made love, a woman named Dylan Owen came to town. Owen believed that Madeira was her daughter. Not believing it, her parents had a blood test done, the blood test came back positive, meaning that the babies were switched at birth and Madeira was court ordered to live with Dylan. The test was positive b/c Dylan had had the lab technician switch the results in her favour. This caused Andrew to spiral into of drug addiction and Madeira to pick up the knife again. After learning that Madeira was being forced to live with her fake mother, the lab tech had a change of heart and revealed the truth. Of course it was too little to late, because Andrew was in a coma and Madeira had started cutting again.

After learning the truth, she decided to go visit her sister the Duchess Kathleen Ford Stanton of Canterbury after hearing she was having a difficult pregnancy. She needed space from the town to reflect about her past choices and decided that England was the place to do it. Before she left however, Dylan Owen was found murdered in a back alley way. Madeira was arrested for the murder, because she had been having a heated discussion with her not 2 nights before hand. She was found innocent. The real murderer was Mercedes Teasdale. She had been in cahoots with Dylan to wreak more havoc on Madeira for not wanting to be her daughter.

Before she left, Halen came to her despite they’re differences asking her to come visit Andrew in the hospital, she refused for fear of seeing her former lover in that state. She could not forgive nor could she even conceive of even forgetting about what had happened between them. While, she hated that there was so much bad blood between them, but there was many things said and done that she regretted. She returned to Port Oak in September with a fiancé, Lord Charlie Harrington, who has some secrets of his own.

Character name change

As you my readers know, there were some doubts about a character's name. You felt it didn't suit him, so I decided after much agonizing I've decided to change his name.

Jack Power is now Damien Jack Power. By the way for those who don't read the comments, which you should do by the way and also leave comments is that Damien means "sweet and harmless". Ahh, its an oxymoron b/c he is anything but that.

K, that's all for today. Sorry there hasn't been more, but I've been concentrating on my registration for 2nd year @ Carleton. I think i've made some good choices so here's to the new year.

Halen is the daughter of Tina Marshall, her biological father is unknown. The newborn was bought for a handsome price from the destitute Tina, who had come to Port Oak to start a new life. Halen was “adopted” by George and Cecile Montcrest Booth.

Halen was kidnapped by Tina when she was 2 years old by the new wife of MAX POWER, Barbara Power. It turned out that it was a reinvented Tina Marshall. Not wanting to involve the media, MAX POWER and George Booth agreed to have Barbara/Tina committed for a period of time and have her be hence known as Halen’s “aunt”.

Halen’s parents were very busy people, jet setting around the world, for this reason or the other. So, whenever her parents were away Halen would stay with her “aunt,” developing a mother-daughter relationship. She also became best friends with her “cousin,” Chris, helping him deal with his homosexuality.

Halen has always had a crush on her neighbour Andrew Sullivan, not realizing that her other neighbour Hamilton Morrow had a crush on her. When Andrew was sent to The Parson School, she started to notice Hamilton in a non-platonic way. When Halen discovered her real mother was Barbara/Tina all along, it was Hamilton who helped her through it and that’s when she realized that she loved him.

When Andrew Sullivan came home from The Parson School for good, Halen wanting him to be happy after learning the real reason why he got kicked out of school helped him keep his relationship with Madeira Ford, a secret from their disapproving parents; even though Madeira despised her. Helping Andrew with Madeira made Hamilton jealous, causing him to nearly be unfaithful to Halen with Tacey Baxter; also telling Tacey that it was his cancer coming back that was causing his jealously. After a comment made by Madeira, Halen realized she had been neglecting Hamilton and set off to find him, find him she did: with Tacey. After Hamilton explained what had happened, Halen took him out to her tree house, someplace no one, not even Chris had been before. Taking him there, they both comprehended finally that they couldn’t live without each other. When they tried to get down, they found out that the rope had broken and would need a ladder to get down. Halen decided that since there were blankets and pleasantries in the tree house that they should just stay the night. They stayed and made love for the first time.

After Halen and Hamilton made love, he told her that his cancer had come back; feeling helpless and wanting to be near her boyfriend, she started volunteering at the Port Oak Memorial cancer center. This is where she met fellow teen Shea Williams Sullivan, the adopted brother of her old flame Andrew Sullivan.

At the hospital, she struck up a friendship with Shea and he made her laugh again. She developed a crush on him, but felt extremely horrible because Hamilton was excruciating pain. When Shea told her that he was gay, she was terribly embarrassed, but decided to set him up with her cousin, Chris Power. After this, Halen was thinking about leaving Port Oak and Hamilton until he asked her to marry him before he died. During the brief engagement, she felt bad for excepting under false pretences, but after a discussion with Andrew she realized that she did really love Hamilton and that this was a good decision. Their parents were uncomfortable with the thought, but allowed it. Halen and Hamilton were married in a beautiful ceremony at the hospital’s chapel.

The couple’s honeymoon was cut short when Hamilton collapsed. Realizing he was on his death bed he asked his wife to pull his plug and let him die. Halen not wanting to let him go but understand he was in too much pain to go on and was slipping from her, let him go. At his funeral, Halen delivered a stirring speech about Hamilton, his life, and starting a foundation in his name devoted to funding research for unknown cancers.
